About the Academy
Liberty K9 Academy is the education arm of Liberty K9 Rescue Ranch in Barnum, Minnesota. We train dogs professionally every day — and now we train the people who want to do it too.
What you'll learn
Real-world, hands-on dog training: canine body language, positive-reinforcement fundamentals, off-leash work, and the handling skills that make a professional trainer.
How certification works
Certification coursework is delivered through Fond du Lac Tribal & Community College. This site handles your application and an on-site knowledge check; the formal coursework and credential are delivered through the college program.

Aspiring professional trainers, shelter and rescue staff, and serious dog owners who want to build real skills under working trainers.
